Live music on the penisula
I’m Brice Albert, born and raised in Monterey, CA, where my love for music began. I was deeply involved in the local music scene during high school, even performing at events like the Monterey Jazz Festival. Afterward, I headed to California State University, Northridge, to major in Jazz Guitar, and later earned my master’s degree from CalArts. While living in Los Angeles, I formed several bands and explored electronic music, blending it with jazz elements. I’ve toured up and down the West Coast as a professional musician, but my true passion lies in live performance. I believe in creating an authentic soundscape during each show, rather than relying on prerecorded tracks.
I’m Nina Hadzi-Antich, and my musical journey started in Buffalo, NY, before my family moved to Sacramento, CA, where I became involved in jazz through my high school’s vocal jazz choir. I had the privilege of participating in the Monterey Jazz Festival as well. I later pursued my passion by majoring in Jazz Studies at UCLA and spent a decade performing throughout Los Angeles, from jazz to rock, even working as a professional backup singer. In 2021, I moved to Monterey, where I’ve reconnected with my love for jazz and enjoy performing around town while constantly refining my craft.
